    863F won't start hot

followup, this was caused by leaving off the screem on the bottom of the fuel probe when I repaired it with parts I had on hand in the field. The screen from bobcat also has a check valve in it that prevents fuel backflow and makes the machine easier to start. hope this helps someone in the future.

    863F won't start hot

no codes, it stays running as long as you start it cold but once you shut her down you have to wait until she cools off before she will start again.

My 863F is starting to leak quite a bit of fluid out the front opening in the belly pan, what's the most common hydraulic leak (s) that I should look for? thanks for any help! Gary

863 873 fuel probe broke loose and fell into tank.

Appreciate the feedback and advice, I'll keep an eye on it and consider moving it closer to the access plate. Maybe an inline clear filter before the primer or a sediment bowl?

863 873 fuel probe broke loose and fell into tank.

using my 863 this last weekend, it shut down on what sounded like lack of fuel. I primed the system with the vent cracked and it just pumped air. hmmmm. filled the tank up to the brim, it ran about 10 minutes then, same thing. guess what the problem was......fuel probe broke off during operation...

    Bobcat Fuel Shut off Solenoid

just saw your picture, I would say its time for a new one. If the one on ebay does not work, call memo parts.

    Bobcat Fuel Shut off Solenoid

Basically, you pull the solonoid out with the two bolts that hold it in, then reconnect the wiring, then cycle the ignition key to see if the plunger is going in and out. If it is, the solonoid is fine. The more technical way of checking it is per the manual with the ohm meter.

    863F attachment lock mechanisms

thanks, been a user of areokroil for some time now, its good stuff. I'm probably lacking in the patience are though. update on the repair, ended up torching the bucket slightly to remove it. Plan to take the bobcat quick-attach assemble to a machine shop to have them press out the pins. do you...
