    hydraulic oil compatability

    My 843 came with 303 hydraulic fluid in it, so that is what i put in, I know that is wrong and would like to remedy that ASAP. I bought 15 gallons of 10-40 and i planned to shoot out 5 gallons replace with 10-40, drive it around abit, and repeat. I know i will never get it all out, but hopefully...

    I never could find a free one but i downloaded one for 9.95 for my 843 from bobcat.backupmanuals.com its the service manual (461 pgs) but they mite have what you need.

    thread sizes, metric?

    Good Morning everyone, i was wandering if anybody out there could tell me what the threads are on the main relief valve on an 843 with the melroe control valve, are they metric? If so, what size? my machinist thinks there like 20mm but since some of the threads are boogered he cant really tell...

    Happy new year! Well I pulled the rest of the reliefand the o rings were shot they were in pieces! Well I put on new ones and know it's worse! I think the front one was to small.     I tried that, no labour or hiss. The pressure out of the aux is 1500 psi that sucks. I have a dumb question tho, when I went to pull the main relief there is a hose on the back of it is that normal? The book dosnt show that.

    @Jerry, well I ran down quick connects for the aux from the seller made a loop, and it didn't really seem to help, cobbled up a pressure gauge by brazing a few fittings together, then found out the gauges bezel screws had come out so it didn't work! Just my luck! So no reading today. I am...
