FIXED! Of all the dumb luck...the hose just became loose for some reason.

Yup, out of diesel, that fuel gauge was broke! After refill and bleed, it started right up!

I'll be posting more. I jsut finished the deal for my ASV RC50. its a 1994 with 350 hour old treads, and 1100 hours ion the clock. Expect more soon.

They agreed to my terms. The customer service guy was great, and I do believe that he and the sales person understood my issues, and took responsibility for them. I'm guessing they will take heed and will work harder to disclose issues as well as check the machins more carfully before shipping.
