I used to own an excavator arm attachment for my bobcat. The type that is just the arm and it operates from inside the cab.
I find myself in need of one but they are difficult to locate. Anybody have insight into the vast array of seemingly cheesy aftermarket attachments available?
There's one...
I'm entirely unfamiliar with hydraulics. This coupler is dripping away precious hydrostatic fluid. Is this something I can take apart and clean up?
To get it off is it the very large perhaps 2-in diameter nut that comes off?
Do I have to worry about contained pressure? Or will it just trip a...
Thanks in advance for any help offered, I purchased a new compactor. I hooked it up which seems like a no-brainer. The hoses twitch like something is happening and it makes some mild noise but there's definitely no compacting going on. Anybody have any ideas?
I found a Bradco 611 locally for a decent price. Obviously mounting plates are an issue since this particular machine has a case mounting plate. I saw a phone number on the forum to contact Bradco but it's no longer a good number. Anybody know how I find out if I can attach this 611 to an S550?
Can anyone point me at a reliable trouble code list?
I have an s550 from 2017 showing codes m9514 and m0154.
The machine shuts off after a few seconds.
Help greatly appreciated
Sorry for the dumb question... but I'm having difficulty figuring out which backhoe will fit my machines. I have an s450 and an s570.
Local guy is selling a 811 hoe attachment, insists it will fit. I'm not so sure.
Is it right? Is it way off? Can I make it work?
Thanks in advance
youre right. i found a bad ground on the attachment itself, and the fuse was bad. (i had never noticed the fusebox right there in the open!!) i assume the bad ground caused the issue. either way, its fixed. thanks
forgot to mention, the cable that comes along the arm to feed the attachment appears to be in good condition. it have checked the plug insertion by the motor too
excavator arm quit while I was digging a trench. My neighbor came over and his machine operates the attachment so the problem is with the skid steer, not the arm. no warning lights. it acts like there is no electrical interaction with the attachment. is there some type of fuse interface or...
