Thanks, Jerry. I am working on the larger problem of the starter motor not turning on, but when I can get it started, I want to drive it out of the barn, park somewhere nice, raise the boom and lock them up, so I can check out all the goodies in the engine compartment.

With the top and side panels off the lx-865, I can see the linkages for the 2 boom lock cylinders that can project from the sides of the cab. I haven't had the boom up yet, but those boom locks don't want to come out when I twist on the handle for them inside the cab. Is there any other...
