743b has no down pressure on boom control???

Ok... Well, I ended up pulling spool out.. It's a pretty piss easy job to be honest I'm not sure what I was worried about now.. And I believe I have solved the issue. One of the springs that holds the detent ball had broken into little bit and the little washer that the centreing spring sits on...

743b has no down pressure on boom control???

Ok thanks for the replies guys... Sorry I haven't checked back earlier... I am definitely sure aux hydraulics are not stuck as I have a 4 in one bucket for one... And two, I have attached my backhoe and it works as it should perfectly... The only problem I have is tht the boom just will not come...

743b has no down pressure on boom control???

I think I misunderstood your original post.. My bobcat works normally except the boom wont come down except under its own weight. I have to engage float to get it down. Someone told me that the inner lining of hoses can come apart and cause a blockage in one direction... Although I think that's...

743b has no down pressure on boom control???

Did you ever find the cause of this problem? I have the exact same problem. My machine was working fine one day. The next it was doing exactly as you described. I have taken a quick look and it seems the spool valve moves both ways fine... Did you find a blockage in the spool valve when you took...

    Bronze filter trouble..

Ok, thanks, so I just activate aux with hoses disconnected till no more oil comes out? Or should I not let it run dry? Funny thing is that the spare parts guy actually rang the mechanic to verify... Lol The speed of bucket isn't that bad it's just not as fast as the s150 so I guess it's just...

    Bronze filter trouble..

I wonder why the guy at dealership spare parts didn't tell that it doesn't have one... On another note, I drive an S150 at work, the 4in1 bucket opens and shuts very snappy and fast... I noticed the bucket on my 743b doesn't have the same snap or speed... Does that mean I could have problem with...

    Bronze filter trouble..

Ahh ok, thanks. I'm not having any specific trouble except I attached a backhoe that wasn't used for years and it had a blown seal full of water... I stupidly hooked it up and got milky hydraulic oil... I just want to change all filters and new oil for routine maintenance. Thank very much for...

    Bronze filter trouble..

Hello, this is my last resort... I've been trying to find location of bronze filter on a 743b... I have the manual for a 743 bit not 743b, it says on the left of port block under cab... Trouble is the port block isn't in the location the manual says?.? It seems to be bolted to the right of the...

    907 backhoe stabiliser problem

Ok the problem is sorted, thanks heaps Tazza... I pulled the top p,ate off then bashed the pin out of the hydraulic and I pulled it all the way out... What it ended up being was that someone had put the pin in the hole before they installed the hydraulic cylinder so it wasn't even attached to...
