I took the lock bolt out and then realized I should have marked the position first .
wasn't able to move it very far cuz there's only like a 16th of an inch chamfer to try to get a channel lock on to twist it - unless I tap it out a little bit so I have something to grab on but then I don't want...
anyone found a good solution for mirrors on a bobcat ?(743)
I need something so I can see what I'm backing into and crushing and also some convects down on the bucket so I can see what's happening at the leading edge after I tilt it down.
frustrating working in tight spaces with no spotter.
wow I guess I forgot to reply to this thread back then. thanks Dave I think that's the ticket if I give it enough throttle the engines a lot louder but the squeal is gone. Guess I should just go find some earplugs lol
quick follow up I haven't tried to rotate the pin yet but I did put down pressure on the bucket and was able to tap the pin back and forth a fraction of an inch with a little Hammer. tried to grease again and it did take this time but it's only squirting out a little stream on the right side...

only one fitting that won't take grease
the left rear upper lift bar pivot won't take grease
removed zerk and it's fine
do i have to take that pivot pin out to clean?
if i remove pivot pin will that arm fall down, so i would have to prop it up w something to maintain alignment?
well which bolt should be tightenable the inside one or the outside one? both seem to be super tight already I can put a cheater bar on my 14 mm wrench but feels like it's just going to strip the bolt head
doesn't look like mine "spring under" the bar. they're just sliding against the side of the bar. maybe they're not installed right?. here's the picture with the bar up.
I'm not sure how they come off. there's an inside bolt head and an outside bolt head. the inside one is trapped inside the metal frame so it couldn't come out. so do you take the outside bolt out and then the whole little contraption with the spring and plate and bar come out?
