It did handle the small stuff ok......but he has had trouble with cracking the main frame area where the gearbox attachs. It is not very strong in that area. We are going to beef it up some with hopes of fixing it by adding 1/2 plate instead of the 1/4 it has now.
I have used a friends 60" just not sure if i would invest into one like his. I like it for the size, but always think about bigger is better you know how we are LOL !! It is a 2 blade type that has a small flywheel (stump jumper)and a hydraulic motor hooked to a gearbox. Any thoughts ???
Looking to buy a brush mower for my S185 high flow. Any suggestions on what too look for? Also is a 72" too big for this machine or would a 60" be better.
It has standard controls. It's kinda wierd because the tilt seems fine. I will check the belt tension for sure. Are there any other filters that could cause this?
Question on my skid...I have noticed the more I work the machine the lift arms seem sluggish, sometimes almost stop after about 4 to 5 feet of vertical lift. The tilt seems fine. When I start the machine cold everything is fine....this happens only after working it lifting some pretty heavy wet...
The lift arms and bucket were down. I dont see any bubbles in the sight glass, just noticed that when cold the level is half, and when warm it goes to completely full.
This might sound like a dumb question.....but when I check the hyd. oil level on my S185 when its cold, it is in the middle of the sight glass on the side of the machine. Question is........is it normal for the entire sight glass to be full after I have used the machine. I have noticed this even...
