yeah i got the new one from my local dealer for $480 with shipping. i decided to take the bent one to my local hydraulic shop to rebuild it for a spare.

i agree, i can have it rebuilt, and was quoted a cost more than the price of the replacement piston. Completely agree with you that it is completely possible to have it rebuilt, and it'll be the next step if i can't get the replacement.
