I took the injectors and delivery valves on the injection pump apart and cleaned them. rechecked for spray and it checked out good! Put it back together and it fires up on the first hit now! It sat for a few years with fuel in the lines so it was gummed up pretty good.
also, when i had the injectors off the lines, while squeezing the primer bulb, the #3 line has a steady stream of fuel coming out. seems like the delivery valve might be stuck open on that cylinder.
im pretty sure mine is shot. the engine is hard to start, but once it starts it runs good. i took the injectors out and checked the spray pattern by hooking them back to the pump and cranking the engine over and all 4 injectors are good but im only getting good enough pressure to crack the...

Figured it out. At some point in its life someone pulled the supply line going into the tank out a little bit and it allowed sand to get into the tank. After it ran for a few minutes the pickup screen would bury itself in the funk at die
I will try that today. Last night I took off the primer bulb and tried blowing air into the tank (fuel cap off) and no air would move so im guessing its plugged. Unless there is a check valve somewhere in between the primer bulb and tank.
Well I got my 773 bobcats wheel motor fixed. Now that I can actually run it I am able to try out the engine. What I've noticed is it will run good for about 5 minutes then begin to lose power. It happens gradually but eventually the engine will stall. Its not running long enough to be...
i have a 94 bobcat 773 that i bought not running. after i got it started i noticed the left wheel motor groans while trying to move in forward and reverse. using the right side seems to help it out but its not pulling its share of the weight. after about 10 minutes of limping it around it will...
