I`ve drained all ours and changed to ethylene glycol if no other reason than its the same as everything else we have, been doing it for years, we have some 5-6000 hour machine never a problem... well at least not coolant related

Thanks for the replies, turned out to be an egr motor, There are some codes the panel wont display, need the bobcat diagnostic software.

What will shut a T 590 down with no codes, have one to check monday, I guess it restarts, runs a couple of minutes then shuts with the active warning light flashing?

Does anyone think an aftermarket scanner and software would be beneficial for bobcats? I know with the deluxe instruments there is some data and you can get codes. I dont know what all the dealers laptops show. just a thought

yes I used the bobcat oil an filled with 2oz. as per manual, their mechanics just fill them full an some s/n's call for 4oz. its just hard to get the correct information sometimes sometimes the info is different in different parts of the manuals

I have heard these take 4oz. each or fill them full, my manual says 2oz. each of the bobcat synthetic oil my manual isnt even clear on the change interval, 1000 hr. or whenever the track is replaced. whats everybody doing?

hello: Has anyone had experience with the bobcat sweepers? we have a lot of problems with the brushes hopping up and down, They are fine for awhile with new brushes, I try to maintain a 2-3 inch contact patch which equates to a 1-2 inch clearance between brushes and cutting edge.

What did you do to free up the rack?

yes it sounds like the steering levers may just need adjusted, the h stands for high flow hydraulics.

been awhile since i seen a 743 but i remember when they would leak down that fast it was the o rings on the port relief valve blown easy fix.oyu can access through the door, unscrew, replace oring and good to go 10 minutes and done

ok update problem solved. broken wire on the harness side of the fuel solenoid, on the pull wire right behind the connector

thanks for the repy tazza ,i tried swapplng relays an made sure they had`nt wiggled loose. i believe the timer is built into the controller on this one.

is it leaking by where the fuel tank drain and chaincase drain plugs are?you should be able to see a trail.sometimes the control valve spool seals will just start leaking sitting still an not much worse running an may just stop. but they will get to point where they leak bad and easy to find
