S185 Bobcat Glow Plug Question (Kubota 2.0L)

Yes but I was surprised to see the NGK label still stamped on them. With other equipment and vehicles I typically see Kubota or Bobcat branded.. All four were difficult to remove from carbon build-up on the element. They unscrewed fine but were tight to pull out. But the tips were not deformed...

S185 Bobcat Glow Plug Question (Kubota 2.0L)

I just removed a GP and it appears original based on the paint matching the block. It is NGK (01X4) Y716RS - IIV. The NGK brand retails at $10/each. What gives?

S185 Bobcat Glow Plug Question (Kubota 2.0L)

Original Bobcat P/N: 6655233 retails at $40 USD. I have always used the manufacturer Glow Plugs because of the horror stories of swollen or broken off tips. I am looking for personal experience and suggestions on where and what brand Glow Plugs you have successfully used in your Kubota Diesels...

    S185-Belt Drive Replacement Question

The answer is that its possible to disassemble the belt tensioner pulley and I after having done so, I highly recommend it be done when replacing the Hydraulic Pump Drive Belt. The dust cap on mine was packed full of very fine dirt. Further disassembly can be performed with a snap-ring tool...

    S185-Belt Drive Replacement Question

EDIT: Sorry I don’t see how to edit my posts. The part I was calling a “Tensioner” is actually called a “Drive Belt Idler Assembly” and this is what I want to know if it should be greased: https://www.bobcatparts.com/engine-components/belt-tensioner-idler/6735884-drive-belt-idler-assembly.html

    S185-Belt Drive Replacement Question

EDIT: I have removed the Tensioner assembly which includes the cast mounting plate that is bolted to the block and has the Tensioner Pulley and external Flat Spiral Torsion Spring mounted to it. Thanks

    S185-Belt Drive Replacement Question

Hello Gents, I bought a new Drive Belt from a Bobcat Dealer and I have removed the Tensioner. Are they “serviceable”? Do you disassemble them for greasing? It spins freely by hand but feels “dry”. Not like there is a sealed bearing inside. Also, are there supposed to be (2) bolts holding it in...

    S185-Belt Drive Replacement Question

S185-Kubota 2.0T I am preparing to replace the large belt drive on this Bobcat and I wish to know if you typically replace other parts at the same time suck as a Tensioner or Tensioner Pulley, etc.. Thank you for your suggestions.

    S185–What Is This Part’s Purpose?

I have not figured out how to post photos yet but another thread describes they are maybe contacts for a back-up alarm? The steering brackets only contact the switches when pulled into reverse position.

    S185–What Is This Part’s Purpose?

Hello. I have an S185 w/Kubota 2.0T. It is new to me and while I was performing the intial inspection, I came across this switch under the cab and which is part of the steering controls. What is the name of this and what is the function of the two contact switches that are spring loaded (one of...
