Hello. I have an S185 w/Kubota 2.0T. It is new to me and while I was performing the intial inspection, I came across this switch under the cab and which is part of the steering controls. What is the name of this and what is the function of the two contact switches that are spring loaded (one of which is bent)? Thankyou

I have not figured out how to post photos yet but another thread describes they are maybe contacts for a back-up alarm? The steering brackets only contact the switches when pulled into reverse position.

If you look up my profile, find my email address and send me the picture and i may be able to tell you what it is

With out seeing the switch it sounds like its for the back up alarm. Usually there are two switches mounted on a flat plate under the steering levers.

It was indeed the switch, one was in good shape, the other bound up and was bent.
