did you flip your service run switch from service to run while the machine was running? that can cause that problem, if not f4 is the fuel shut off solenoid shorted out

OOPS I GUESS I`M TOO LATE, THE HARNESS TO THE SEAT SWITCH WE`VE SEEN A FEW OF THEM BRAKE OR SHORT OUT ESPECIALLY IF EQUIPED WITH THE SUSPENSION SEAT

after working on lots of these units i wouldn`t buy one! there old and if not taken care of properly will cost you lots of$$ to maintain, buy a lx or ls series machine

170 is more of a reliable machine than the 180, they changed the hydro`s now and changed it to a 185 and that machine has al bee bulletproof since the change

there a tough machine! lift up the seat and check for oil leaks, and do a general check over, and thats about it! there pretty bullet proof!

pump will go on in either service or run position with the key turned

check for power at your lift pump,pump might be shot!

600 to 800 grit sandpaper on a sheet of glass,paper must be lubricated with oil, done lost of hydro`s this way,always worked for me!
