If you find an old Gen set with an Isuzu they are the same motor so you should be able to swap some parts. Also straight down From a Isuzu dealer is better. Last year I bought one with a bad motor and replaced it. I have not heard on this motor in a pickup. But in Canada we don't get a good...
Will get some pics soon. I never drained it but not to sure on its history could have been done. Will find out soon if it does or does not vanish again.
Well i got the old girl running in the nick of time. Have done alot of snow removal with it. Found a few more things i need to fix now. So i have 13 hours on the new motor running like a champ. One isses is how the cab heater is routed. the supply is straight off the block nothing wrong with...
Well it was a long time coming but motors in! Fired up first try after priming oil and fuel. Let it run for 30 min and finally got her inside to thaw out. What kind of hydraulic oil does she take its a little low.
Yes it is but I got it cheap due to the motor being blown, It had a lot of money put in it before I got it. All new pins and bushings, new hydro pump. so I kinda thought to myself at least I know were I will be just about be new for me and should last me 20 years. I was hoping to find a used...

When I would swamp a motor I would fill just with at least half diesel because it absorbs water and has some lubricant. In motors I would fill it run it for a couple seconds drop it out and refill with clean oil and be good to go. Not sure if it's a good idea with hydraulics or not but it is one.
small diesels have to much cold metal close to the combustion compaired to the big guys is what was explained to me years ago. it just pulls all the heat out made in the compression and no fire. now the big guys have bigger cylinders a lot more air to heat in the compression stroke and the...
