    853 snow blades

Thank you for all the replies and advice. I have the wider tires, which I suspect are not as good in the snow as the stock, thinner ones.

    853 snow blades

Thanks mrbb. Yes, I realize it was an open ended question. Mostly just doing my driveway, which is rather long and up hill on part of it, although I push downhill usually. I am leaning towards a 7 foot, as I don't want to over power my tires. With the price of these things, I may just...

    853 snow blades

What width would be recommended for an 853 please? Considering between 72”-96.” 96” is as wide as my driveway is in one spot. Are the newer attachments the same hook up as the older? What about the hydraulics connectors? I have a bucket and looking at drilling a hole each end and putting a...

    853 With Fuel Problems

Thanks Tazza. I put in about 3 gallon I think, so maybe it is ok. Good idea though about using it for the chain case. I had forgot how much fun this machine is to run when it doesn't quit all the time. At least for now....

    853 With Fuel Problems

I leave the tube just sitting on top of the hole with a rag around it for now for ease of getting it out. Much less difficult without that screen on there. I have operated the machine about 5 hours now and seems to start and run fine without the check valve. Not picking up much in the see...

    853 With Fuel Problems

I am still having issues with the bulb collapsing after running for a short time, so I cut the check valve off. It seems to start ok , even after sitting for a couple of weeks. I noticed the metal tube on the check valve was pinched? I don't know if that is the way they are designed, or if I had...

    853 With Fuel Problems

Great info mmsllc and thanks. The bulb was replaced, along with the line from the 90 degree fitting to it. The inline is just before the bulb.

Thanks 7lbs. I will need more time to evaluate and don't need the machine at the moment.

    853 With Fuel Problems

It would seem that after draining a full tank and rinsing with 6 gallons, even with the tank slightly deformed, that much of it would have come out. I at least now have a second filter installed that I have been wanting.

Bobcat 763 Chain Case Drain Plug?

I recently drained the fuel tank, and just backed the end of the machine over a slight drop off, and could easily get to the stoppers. I pulled down the metal pin in the middle with a pair of plyers and it came out ok. Just push the plug back in first, and then push the pin back up. It does not...

    853 With Fuel Problems

It is an Isuzu. I ran it with the screen off the check valve and the bulb started to suck in again, but was running fine. It had picked up some degree in the see-through in-line filter. Drilled the holes out below the check valve to about twice the size and drove it another 45 minutes and ran...

    853 With Fuel Problems

I left the check valve, just removed the screen around it. The hole into the valve is also small, but bigger than what the screen would allow. It still may plug, but I do not need the machine for now, so not going to be able to put it to a good test. I may... end up pulling the tank. Thanks.

    853 With Fuel Problems

Thanks Tazza. I pulled the pick up tube back out again, and it looked like it was coated with the same grit. It could be algae, but do not think so. The tank must be deformed on the bottom and is not letting all the dirt drain, even with rinsing. I took the screen off around the check valve and...

    853 With Fuel Problems

The good news is that the 853 has a fuel drain in the bottom of the pan...the bad news is that the tank was full. It seemed to have dirt or gravel in the fuel. I not only disposed of all 25 gallon, but rinsed it 3 times with about 2 gallons each. It looked like I had almost no dirt in the last...

    853 With Fuel Problems

Not at home, and when I get there I have too many other projects.....will most likely be this summer. I have loaned the machine out, so hope the tank did not get contaminated, but must be something in there. Maybe algae. I will try and report any findings. Thanks for asking and hope you get...
