Hi, Bought a pair of heavy duty clamp on forks for the bucket. These things work great for 220 dollars new! Only downside is that you cannot push an object sidways because they will pivot on the bucket. Then you have to get out and re-adjust and re-tighten them down. I bought them for pallets and logging around the place. Picks those big logs right up and piles them easy! You can lift less due to the forks being way out there on the bucket, but still hardly ever lifts the back end up. These ones are rated to 3000#'s. Just thought I would mention it.

I'm sure they will work fine for smaller lifts. Just remember that the long lever in front of your bucket puts a considerable twist on the cutting edge.
I would'nt recomend you try popping rocks out of the ground.

Also the added weight of the bucket will reduce the lifting ability of the machine but if you are only lifting a few hundred KG it seems to be a good idea. I too would be concerned with bucket damage at the cutting edge, just don't go over loading it and i'm sure you will be happy with it. I really need to make up a set of these for my machine.... its a job to one day get around to doing!
Ken makes a good point with the distance out of the machine, watch you don't topple forward.
Glad you are happy with your purchase, nice and cheap too!

Oh, I've used them plenty and they work well. Beats spending $800 on them otherwise, you just have to be more careful. Thanks for the input.

I picked up a set of forks and the slide frame at a local scrap metal yard, $40, they get unserviceable fork lifts from time to time. I will be welding the 'slide frame' to an attachment plate as soon as I make one!.
