I have a 1988 743 bobcat and consider tier 0 , having to deal with my local government emissions can I possibility retrofit my engine exhaust to tier 1 or better tier 2 .

that is the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard of. i don't see how they can force you to do anything, that is totally overstepping their bounds. what are the penalties?

I think its starts at 1000 dollars and up to 200,000

i think that website said if you run biodiesel then the rules don't apply. that's what i'd do.

That's just stupid.
I agree that it is just a money grab, if you want to use your machine you need a 90 day permit that i bet will cost you.
Good to know if you have say an old diesel pump or generator in the back yard, you need a permet to operate that when you want.....
