2005 ls180b brakes and hydraulics stopped while running

I have a 2005 LS180b that stopped going up a dirt hill that I am building for a slide. The bucket was in the air and I was able to lower it, but no other hydraulic functions work including aux. Brakes are locked and it will not move. Has anyone had this happen that is on here? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Is the hill steep enough so you may have slid back in the seat and not enough weight on the underseat switch? Sit on the forward edge of the seat and try it although if it is that steep I'd worry about the engine starving for lube oil quickly.

I don't think that's the problem because I can turn it off and restart it.

It's like a sensor or relay went out but which one and where is it at? Aux. doesn't work but take off seat belt and trying the aux will shut down engine. Have to be sitting in the seat with seatbelt on to start. Thanks for your input Jerry.

The hydraulic system and the hydrostat charge pressure system are separate. To have a problem with both, as in your case. you either are low on oil or the drive coupler between the hydrostat and the engine failed. I am basing this assumption on the condition the pedals unlock when you push the button.

You can unbolt the hydraulic pump and pull away from the front of the hydrostats and crank over the engine and see if the hydraulic pump drive coupler in the hydrostat is turning.

A friend and I pulled it apart and the gear on the hydraulic pump fell off. We replaced the drive connection and it works great. Thanks Mike and for everyone that contributed on here.
