i want to replace all of the hoses in my 643 before i paint it, does anyone have a list of the hose lengths by any chance? a 743 should be exactly the same, it would speed up the process to have the hoses ready to go. thanks

I tried to mesure mine on my 743 did not work well ended up bringing the line into the shop for exact fit I think it would be best to remove all cap and lable and diagram or photo all and if yours is the same as mine I would replace the two steal lines that cross just to the right of center of the engine behind the shroud everyone I have seen has faild there and been replaced except mine when it went it was BAD and never going to happen at a good time also the steal line in the shroud gets pitted from crap blowing around in there

Doing a full set of hoses will cost you a fair bit. Personally i'd remove them, give them a twist and look for cracks, if any are found, replace it.
As anyfarmer said, you are best o tag them take samples to a shop and get them custom made, they are spot on then.

the steel lines look good, just the hoses. there is only 8 hoses i think, 2 for aux, 2 for tilt, and 4 for lift. how much could they be? hoses are fairly cheap, i thought.

Ah, you aren't doing the lot, just the ones that go from the machine to the arms.
How deep are you going? there is a hoes under the control block in some models that has a sharp bend and is known for leaking with age. If you are taking the engine out or the pump, the hose you want loops under the control block and back up to near a block on the left side of the machine while looking from the bucket.
Older units may not have this hose though.
