I was thinking hold coil too...I am not familiar with your macnine or what engine is in it but it sounds like a hold coil in the fuel solenoid is out. A two stage fuel solenoid has a pull coil used for start only (usually 5sec) and a hold coil used to keep engine running. Wiring, relays, safety system or component failure could be at fault. Not an answer exactly but gives you some direction.
Sorry, i don't know the engine, but it should be near the injector pump. Thanks for the help guys. Sorry for the delay. Could either one of you point me to where the fuel solenoid might be located on this Isuzu Engine.
Depending on what pump is used it could be separate or integrated. Either way the wiring harness will lead you to where you need to look. If it is separate there will be mechanical linkage to the injection pump from the solenoid. If its integrated the wires will be connected directly to the pump. I wish I was more familiar with the 2070 but we rarely see anything from Mustang in these parts. Thanks for the help guys. Sorry for the delay. Thanks guys for all your help. I had to send the injection pump to get rebuilt. and I just received it back and I'm still having problems. Do you guys know if I would have to do fuel timing on this equipment now that I replaced the pump?Depending on what pump is used it could be separate or integrated. I would look for a weak part in the running circuirtThanks guys for all your help. I had to send the injection pump to get rebuilt. and I just received it back and I'm still having problems. Do you guys know if I would have to do fuel timing on this equipment now that I replaced the pump?
I have no idea where that is.I would look for a weak part in the running circuirt
Just guessing but try to put a hot wire from the battery to the small wire on the starter then see if it worksI have no idea where that is.
On our 2044 and 2054 it was a charge pressure switch that has to energize to keep the machine runningJust guessing but try to put a hot wire from the battery to the small wire on the starter then see if it works
