Hi All. Just found this forum trying to find some info for my 743. I blew a hydraulic hose the other day and have been having a hard time finding which one. Had oil everywhere. First I thought it was the pressure hose from the vane pump to the hydro control valve but after removing it I could not find where it was bad. I kept looking and I believe the hose that blew was the one that runs from the port block to the bottom of the control valve. THE VERY BOTTOM! My question is "How the heck do you get to it???" Do I have to remove all of the tubes on the control valve above it to get to it?? Is there any other way to remove it? I looked in an 843 service manual but they seem to be different than a 743. Also, is it possible to push or tow my 743 without it running with the hydro system down? I have an exmark zeroturn and it has valves located at the pump that can be opened it the mower needs to be pushed. Does the 743 have anything like that? Any help is appreciated! Paul.
