LX665 Noisy turns, Kinda like a whine. PLEASE HELP

Ok thanks to some helpful tips here I solved one of my issues of a grinding sound (turns out there was zero gear oil in one of the gear boxes and once filled it was quiet) Now there is a different issue I havent been able to fix. There is a loud whining sound that occurs when turning, wide or tight turns both sound loud. It is much worse when using the left side it seems. Also if you are sitting still and gently pull back on the left stick you get little if any movement and much whining and if you stop then gently pull on the right you get immediate response and it is also much quieter. The hydraulic pump was just changed recently also, just to give you more information. The fluid is full as well. A friend mentioned checking the hydrostatic fluid, but I'm not sure that applies here and if so I cannot find where to check that. We are at a loss and are in desperate need of this machine. Also forgot to mention there is zero noise when using the lifting mechanism. Only in the drive area. A whining groaning type sound.

the hydrostatic /hydraulic reservoir is in the engine bay on the right up by the firewall. It has markings on it for the level. fluid is 10-30 motor oil. Hard to say about the growling / whining noise. If you run it at low rpm it will growl a lot more than at higher rpm. Mine is fairly quiet going straight forward or back but turning it makes a growly whining noise. To me its normal. If the gear boxes tend to go down on oil you may want to modify them so they use the chain case lube. I did that and cant say whether it is good or bad but I don't have to check the gear box oil level anymore. If you run it at above 2000 rpm and it just makes some growly hydraulic noises I'd use it , if it is making metallic grinding noises then that is different.

I read some online that it could be a stuck relief valve or the wrong hyd oil. I think whoever had it before put regular hydraulic oil and the book said 10W/30. Maybe thats part of it. I dont think the oil viscosity would have that much effect unless it was very thin. I have driven bobcats that are quieter also, but the new holland has a long wheelbase and takes more effort for it to turn. Mine really complains at rpm below the mid teens. If it is all on one side you may have to look into the gear reduction box. If you recently replaced the hyd pump there could still be some air in the system, it will come out with time though.
