So far I have enjoyed working on my s250. But today is a different story. I made a template, cut it 1/4 less, cleaned my rubber seals, soaked in hot water, and tried to install. I had to walk away from it. My patience was over. On the verge of losing it. What should I do? Has to be a trick. Tried wraping the rubber seal around the glass first but it would not stay on the glass as you moved foward. Then I tried the rubber seal on to the Bcat frame. It held itself in place. But The glass will not go in the recess. I'll probably just sheet metal screw the heck out of it. I hate to do that. I have cut no corners so far

search these forums, I have seen past posts on it involving a cord placed down in the rubber gasket and as you put the glass in you pull the cord out which will bring the rubber out past the glass. That is all I remember about it though.
I came up empty with a "replacing back glass" search. What word should I search?

I went by an old friends who owns a glass shop. He loaned me a tool to use instead of the rope. I used it. It worked but I did as he said by unlocking the joint, which made it more flexiable, kind of the same thing as the 1/4 round. The tool fit this joint back together. Had a dull point with a small roller. Worked like a zipper.
