Just bought this 95 lx665 a week ago and went to change all Filters and fluids and I can not get the hydraulic filter off. Just keeps spinning and feels like it still has resistance as well. Anyone come across this with new hollands???

Did the base of the spin on filter come loose in the filters canister?
You may have to rip the tin canister off the base and use a chizel to loosen the base up. Or buy a new filter head. Got to get it appart and see what failed.

I really can't tell I am letting it go for the moment cause I'm using the machine but it seems like it tightened back up ok. However is does have considerable resistance going both ways. There isn't a special procedure at least that's what the nh service department said so I dunno. But I gotta get it changed. I noticed after running it for a couple hours straight yesterday that I felt a pulsing through the filter so perhaps that filter is really bad.

Don't even run it now till you remove that filter, you have no idea at this point how disturbed the guts of the filter and all the crud it has filtered out are. It may be putting that stuff back in the system. I bought a bobcat with a bobcat brand filter on it and it had collapsed internally so was doing no filtering. just my opinion though.

After ripping it to shreads with a sawzall and big chisel it came free. If I could upload pics, it would be classic!
