For the past five years it has not snowed very much. Just enough to get by. This year , there has been so much snow that I,m having a hard time keeping up. I,m not complaining though; Its nice to be making money for a change. Just let it snow , let it snow , let it snow.$$$$$$$$$

Are you in the denver area? It's so muddy here. dennis
I wish, every time we had precip it warmed up and come as freezing rain. Been waiting 3 weeks to try the blower and nothing. Btw a tooth bucket works good for roughing up the ice left from the rains. I could have skated around my whole yard.
I need to figure out how that sat photo thing at www.tagzania.com works so we could all put a tag on home.
Mine is here
http://www.tagzania.com/user/Ken (think that will work without being logged in)
Someone at dieselram.com started it and members had tags all ove, especialy in the US

Do you by chance work at the NH dealer in Steinbach?
We head to Wpg once a mo. or so, being our closest major center.
Glad to have someone around the board that is familar with , Nh, it was pretty quiet before you came along.
Send us some snow, my blower is getting lonely.
Regards
Ken

We still have a 85 LTL 9000 that came from Intercity Ford in Tbay, was that during your shift?
My father bought it new in the spring of 86. We have put 590 000 kms on it to date pulling a 50 ton lowbed and hauling 21 to 22 cords of wood. Its been a good truck.

You poor bastards are getting all the cold and crappy weather. I'm in London, and we had three feet (literally), of flurries in one night back in late December, and have barely seen another flake since it melted. I'm glad I don't plow snow.

I actually like doing snow. your don't have to consider tire wear as the slick snow and hard surfaces allow you to spin around at will with little or no adverse affects. You can make the most of a skids unique abilities. with our dry snow a 9' blade make the little machines seem mighty.
Sometimes on my 27 mo old son's frequent request for "bob ride" we will go do twirlies (one stick full forward, the other full reverse) or we take the 773 on steel tracks and slide down the gentle slope in my drive, sideways. After the freezing rain, we could go about 150 feet straight sideway. (slope is perfect, keeps speeds @3 or 4 mph)
The steel tracks are just like skates in the snow
Things you just can't do on unfrozen surfaces.
In the summer it makes me cringe when you see a greenhorn tear the hell out of a yard or diveway because they don't know enough to make gradual turns. but in the winter its lots of fun.

Hey Ken I started in 1984, Ford stopped making them in 1998. Drive them out of Ky to the dealer's piggybacked. Unload them, install the axles and other misc. item's that had to be removed to piggyback them. Hop on a plane back and do it again. Now I del. the Super Duty F250 thru F550 on a reg car carrier. I run mostly a 400 mile range of Kentucky now. dennis
