I left my LS180 next to a customer's house and when I came back the next day, the dash was hanging down. It looks like they first tried to turn the ignition with a screwdriver. When that didn't work, they took the panel off to try and jump the wires. The reason it wouldn't start is because I had surreptitiously disabled it from starting before I left it there. I put the dash back together enough to start it and discover that the ignition fuse is blown. I reach into the engine compartment and get it replaced. What a stupid place to put a fuse panel! Finally, I get it started and go to the back of the machine to close the engine compartment. That's when I see coolant gushing all over the place. The thieves tried to steal the radiator. They disconnected the hoses and bent one of the outlet tubes but they couldn't figure out how to disconnect it from the bracket. I didn't have time to repair it there so I just ran it briefly to get it loaded and out of there. I usually have the engine compartment locked. I will be more diligent about keeping it locked and not be complacent about where I leave it. If you haven't put some kind of anti-theft device on your machine, do it now!
