Need to replace seals on the lift cylinders on a 763. I plan on making a wrench. Does anyone know the pin spacing and size on the gland nut? TIA

You don't need to know the spacing if you make a different style wrench. Use a drill but to work out what pin diameter you need.
As for the wrench. Make it so one arm pivots and one is fixed, this way it will do different sized gland nuts, all you will need is a few pieces of flat bar stock to make it too.

As you can see, this is to fit on to a 1/2" bar, there is no reason why one of the legs can't be a long bar of flat stock to use as the handle. Does that make sense?
I plan on making something like this when time allows....

That is a very clever idea. Looks kind of like a scaled up adjustable pin spanner I have for angle grinders. One change I would make to it would be to drill smaller holes adjacent to the ones there and drive pins in so it would handle two different pin sizes by reversing it. Save making a whole new tool if you had two different size cylinders.

The ones you buy actually have threaded pins. You can then simply un-screw them and screw in smaller ones.

I don't want to get the thread off track but was curious about the picture, all I get is a little white box with a red "X" in it. I did a right click with my mouse and selected "show picture" but it didn't seem to help. Does anyone have any ideas what computer setting I may have to change to view it? My machine is running windows 7. Thanks, John
