Do you have the mounting kit?Where do the 2 inch balls go on a Bobcat 843 in order to mount a Bobcat 911 backhoe attachment? Any other advice on this attachment would be very helpful, as I just got an old 911 and looks like it needs a lot of help.
Do you have the mounting kit?
I have a parts catalog for the 911 if you want, I can take photos of the pages for you.
Here is a video that shows the balls on an 843:
OK, will try to get from this site. Thanks again. You can also find the parts catalog for the 911 on the Bobcat site:
https://partscatalog.bobcat.com/
Just click on “Select model”, type in “backhoe”, click on “Loader”, and then scroll down to click on “911 Backhoe”.
Here is a photo of the Mounting Kit:Thanks so much! That video was very helpful. I would love any excerpts from the parts catalog as I need to do a lot of work on the machine I think. I wonder how those those balls are mounted and whether I can use regular 2 inch trailer balls. Is there anything else in the mounting kit you referred to?
Thanks. I'm trying to guess where all those parts fit into the pic I got from the video you referred me to. Maybe I'm just really dense. Might there be an additional pic showing these parts in context. Here is a photo of the Mounting Kit:
Thanks. I'm all set. Downloaded the whole parts catalog and understand it. I appreciate your help. Now I have to look for an owners manual and service manual, but I think they'll be harder to find in downloadable form. Here is a photo of the Mounting Kit:
The parts diagram is for both the 843 and the 863 mounting brackets. See the “Remarks” column.Thanks. I'm trying to guess where all those parts fit into the pic I got from the video you referred me to. Maybe I'm just really dense. Might there be an additional pic showing these parts in context.
Dealing with an old 911 is a total project in itself, I feel for you. Those things are finicky with the mounting points, and it's easy to get frustrated. If you find yourself spending more time fixing the attachment than using it, maybe it's time to try something else. I ended up getting some FYREBX skid steer attachments for my own setup, and it’s been a massive time-saver.
