I have an '06 317. wondering if there is an available option for controlling multiple aux hydraulic solenoids. Such as a bulldozer blade for angle, tilt...etc After market or from JD.
My machine is an '06 317 so not sure if the cab lift procedure is the same. I can lift the cab with the arms up or down. as simple as two nuts on fwd corners and lift it up.
Have you put a meter on it yet while running brake on and off to see what the actual voltage is?
sounds like maybe the gauge is reading incorrectly. I would think if it were truly discharging all this time you would have had battery issues long before now.
For sale in central NC.
here is my craigslist add link.
feel free to contact me here if interested.

My machine JD 317 flows 17 at 3000psi I believe.
more than enough for my post hole digger and Hoe.
going to invest in a 72” brush cutter requiring 15-20 flow.
when boring holes or digging with hoe I run about 50% throttle and have plenty power and speed.
just my .02$
IMO for household/personal use I would run it as is.
maybe send an oil sample in and maybe watch the oil level in the crank case to monitor if getting fuel dilution of the oil.
I agree sounds like crank case vent smoke.
Perhaps start it and take the oil service cap off and see if it has pressure there with your hand.
Many guys in the diesel truck preformance space will vent the ccv to the atmosphere to avoid oil soaking charge air cooler boots and the cooler itself...
Rear of the engine basic sitting straight up at 12 o'clock.
has an access port to take the pin out of clevis and lift shutoff manually.
I can get you pictures tomorrow if needed.
My 317 has a temp gauge as well as temp read out on the digital panel with the hr meter.
Not sure if they share a temp sender. If I had to bet, I would think the digital it generated by the onboard computer from an alternate source.
I use photobucket.
Yes, my backhoe attaches to the machine in the middle.
It was only on the quicktach for loading and transport so I could set it off and grab the 4in1 to get going at the site. Have to lift it to get started up the ramps on my gooseneck.
