wont crank over

new to me 2008 256C ran fine first few days, battery is charged. work lights and panel light -up, arm rests are in down position - all things as per prior starting sequence wont crank over. any assistance appreciated.

Assuming you probably already got this fixed. I would make sure you have ~12.6+ volts from your battery. I've had situations with low 12v and it would not turn the engine over. Also, often times no-crank is due to a bad starter motor or solenoid. below is a link to test it. It shows bench testing but you can test on the skid steer but just make sure you're clear of moving parts bc it will turn the engine over if it is working properly. https://youtu.be/6x2hIOtBfzE Marshall
