Where to learn about tracks? Lightest, Strongest, etc

I'm putting together a special app skidsteer vehicle from the ground up. We are trying to keep the machine weight as light as possible. I figure we will end up using OEM or aftermarket skidsteer loader tracks. Most i've looked at are a little on the heavy side, while mattracks style rubber are too weak(and expensive). I would like to thoroughly research whats available in this market. Any advice, tips or sites would be greatly appreciated.

most of the stock tracks come from bridgestone. but each equipment company sets the spec. I would start there. Theres are many different aftermaket choices. do a google search
