My LX565 right side handle will not allow me to push down and lock in bucket. The handle moves a couple inches but then stops. I cleaned all components and greased the unit to make sure nothing was binding up. Still no luck. I haven't attempted to disassembly but am wondering if the suspect leading cause would be a broken spring. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for your input.

There is a solid or roll pin in the front of the face plate which pins the latch pin to the linkage. It travels in a slot. While applying pressure to the handle, take a hammer and punch and tap the roll pin down. Then lubricate the pin area and work back and forth. The other possibility is the roll pin is driven too far in the latching pin and contacting the pipe plug on the back side of the face plate.
