Twisted Pallet fork frame

Got a deal on a decent set of forks..now I know why probably should have looked at them in the daylight lol. It looks like the previous owner picked the front of the machine off the ground with only 1 latch engaged. Forks are straight and not bent. Laying the frame on the ground it won't sit flat. 1 corner is about 2 inches off the ground. Any ideas on trying to straighten these?

I picked up a snowplow attachment for basically the same reason. I think they hit a bollard or something and twisted things up pretty good. I had to cut out a couple of the welds before I could bend things back into place and re-weld it.

I have straightened out a bent bobtach in a press before, but this may be a little big. If you can isolate where and what is bent, you may be able to push it out using a chain and a bottle jack. Place the jack over the bent area, fasten the chain to the item to be straightened on either side of the jack, and the bridge the chain over top of the jack. As stated above, you may have to cut a few key welds, and/or use some heat to get it to move as desired. HTH

6 hours later, they're almost perfect. In the pics, I did the cutting, straightening and rewelding to get the forks to sit on the frame evenly. I placed a chunk of wood in between the bobtach and fork frame and slide the forks over to the "good side". I then picked up the back end of my little truck with the fork tips. Man, did that fork frame twist..lol. Probably not the safest but I'm much happier now with them. Supposed to get a deal on a nice set of bradco forks, as long as their not all bent up and twisted, I'll grab them and sell these.
