Trying to figure out what year my machine was made in.

I was just browsing the bobcat site and i guess i was wrong i thought it was made in 1975 for some reason. Seems my 743 was made from 1981 to 1991 my S/N 501961479 anyone know how to tell what exact year my machine is?

For inquires about the year of manufacture of your Bobcat product, please contact the Marketing Service department at 701-678-6165.

The year a Bobcat was made doesn't mean that it was put into service right away. It could have sat at a dealer for a year or more before being sold. Also the year means nothing when it comes to parts and repair, all that is serial number driven.
