So what you guys think is faster and easier for grading?
A wheeled skid steer or a farm tractor pulling a 7 foot box blade?

How big an area? How wide a path? How much rock of what size?

Lots of bigger rocks to pick out, lots of 4 foot tall humps to break down? Skidder.

Flatten and rework an existing gravel parking lot? 7' box on a tractor.

I bet overall, the 7' box would be the better tool... But you might need to go over some areas twice, or move something individually with the skidder.

You have both at your disposal? Win win!

I use a grading plainer on skid loader for rough and finish grading , also for driveway rock leveling .
have used tractor with back blade and bucket also but the skid loader now is #1 with the plainer .
