I have recently purchased a 2019 Wacker Neuson st35, this is the early model with the large frame and the Perkins engine. So far, I like the machine the only drawback is of course the tracks in winter, has anyone run the Grizzly Track chains? pros and cons would be appreciated.

I have no answer for your qusestion, but I have a 2017 wacker neuson sw-20 and so far it has been a good machine, they seem to be well engineered. hopefully you will have the same luck with yours.

Hi, I purchased a 2003 Bobcat T190 primarily for snow removal last year. I live in upstate NY & on a very steep grade 900' driveway. I was told the tracks would be useless on the steep grade but saw the Grizzly track chain ad & purchased a set. I am super impressed by the results. They are not cheap (like $1200) but this week alone (2/19/25) we have had crazy weather, snow, rain, freezing rain etc. Sheer ice on the hill. My T190 is like a bulldozer even going uphill. It's a little bumpy & who knows what the driveway will look like in the spring ( half paved & gravel up top) but they didn't fall off & plowed through most everything. I would recommend a set wherever u buy it from. -mm

I've used them too! and they are an absolute game changer! Definitely no more sliding around.

I did purchase a set (I bought from chains for tracks, better price and faster shipping) and my thoughts so far are mixed, they only sell the regular chain but I think it would be better if they had the square style links for better traction. I do not run on any type of paved or concrete surfaces, so I don't have to worry about damage to the road surface. I was hoping I could get enough traction to plow uphill but not happening with 6" of snow with frozen ground under it. With no snowload it will climb the road and then I can push down so its all good. I would buy again but would wait till they make them in square link.

Glad it works. Plowing uphill is a lot to ask under most conditions. I don't have the wider tracks so probably better than the wider option. Have fun

I just posted on another thread about them but want to get info out there for people looking at them. Great traction- I have been able to blow snow uphill 6-10% grade no problem even when icy. Ride is pretty rough. I took a few off each track and it made the ride a little smoother. And they're really expensive for what they are. I actually haven't been using them most of the time because I drive my skidsteer about 10 minutes from my house to another place I do removal. I'm in Colorado so usually cold grippy snow and don't feel like I need them all the time. Overall a good product to have especially if you deal with a lot of ice.

FYI I got the "Chains for Tracks" brand not the grizzly but I have to assume they are pretty similar.
