I just acquired a 1978 Thomas 1200. Changed all the oils in it (hydraulic, chain case, engine, etc) and changed the filters. It has a Wisconsin 30 hp VH4D motor. Runs great except when I move it. If I push both sticks forward or backwards, it moves great. The moment I use the right stick more than the left stick (forward or backward) the engine starts to bog down and will kill if I let it. Let up off the right stick and the motor revs back up. Bucket works fast as do the arms to raise and lower it. It just seems to be the right stick that causes the engine to bog way down. Anyone out there have any ideas as the culprit? I really like the machine and look forward to using it. Thanks in advance for any help.
