We bought an 865lx new back in 1999. its been a great machine. got 2200 hrs on it. Was thinking about trading up for a new one. Thought i would ask on the forum here on the subject. Wondering what a machine like ours in good shape is worth; and any scenarios that are likely going toward an ls190?? I'm out of date on the different models, but was assuming a fellow could probably find one of these still?? So if i found a decent dealer and he had an ls190 or similar (if they have changed model numbers), what kind of cash boot would a guy be looking at? I suppose if i could find one with super low hrs that wasn't a rental and i could tell it was like new that would be good, but am skeptical about one with many hrs on it at all. I'm not even sure what they sell for these days. I did see a 90 hp. model online that was around 50k and thought i was gonna puke. Tell me they haven't went up that bad.... anyway, before i get to digging too deep on it, thought i would see what kind of thoughts i could get from the community. thanks in advance, chris

Figure the price of a new is about the same as a pickup truck. 75hp, 2500 lbs lift are easily in the mid $40s. Going big to a 90hp + can reach $75,000 depending on brand and options. For what yours is worth, I would look at sites like tractor house and fastline. Look at as many machines like yours to get an idea what they are worth. Just like cars and trucks, selling outright will nab bigger bucks vs trading in.
