I have a 2014 T750 high flow. I have been getting the error E000636-02, Crankshaft position sensor error, for a while now. It has gone back to the dealer several times for repair and the error persists. The following have been replaced:
Crankshaft position sensor
Wiring harness
Starter
Primer fuel pump
All filters

The unit runs for a while and then it throws the error. RPMs drop making it unusable. What I find interesting is that the error doesn't get stored in the history.
This is a Tier 4 Kubota engine. I am at a loss on what to do next. Despite the dealers efforts, it still does it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Which harness was replaced? Because there are 2, one from the ECU to the ECU Harness and then the Ecu/Engine Harness.
If you look on the PDF I attached, it is either Part #11 or #41. Which harness was replaced?

This might sound silly but have you personally checked the cam sensor yourself ?
Reason why I ask is because I had a machine one time where two different mechanics changed the crank sensor but they were actually changing the cam sensor and not the crank lol. The cam sensor should be loacted by the water pump and the crank sensor is by the bottom pulley / crankshaft

If I were yourself I would confirm this with your owns eyes

You already have a kubota giving you problems and now you want the whole machine made by them, trust me as a 20 year mechanic working on kubota you don't want that

Please give me model and serial for your engine and let me see if there are any updates or issues regarding this problem as I work at a dealer and have info on this engine

Bobcat dealer here keeps telling that they don't have all the equipment to troubleshoot Bobcats with Kubota engines and the Kubota dealer won't look at it. I'm having to rely on my own experience and that of local mechanics who claim they are heavy equipment mechanics. Very frustrating.

I will take your advice and look for myself at the crank sensor.

Let me know if your engine is v3800 ? They are having issues with the gear spinning on camshaft, will send some pictures once I have this engine out and dismantled

WTF? Then tell them to order that stuff. Or go to a other Dealer. I bet you that they have the stuff, because it is on the list of stuff you HAVE to order to become a Bobcat Dealer. I think they have no one who knows how to operate that stuff.
Where are you located?

They claim that because it's a Kubota engine they only have 1 laptop with the software they need and it was down. Last time I called they hadn't replaced or repaired it.
