I have a T200 and had someone pull the engine, clean it, repair an oil leak. When I got the machine back, the park break would not dis-engage. When I press the "green" button, nothing happens. The brake light on the toggle will turn off, just will not unlock the tracks. I replaced the solenoid that controls the lock, no luck. I had a friend bypass the lock (not sure how he did it). The traction lock light (green button) blinks constantly, park doesn't work. I need some tips on finding the defective part or any help would be greatly appreciated.

My guess would be that a wire did not get hooked back up correctly whaen they put the motor back in.
Some of the early 864's and 200's had a knob on the end of the brake valve which could be turned and unlock the brake , the newer models you can't do that and most newer machines the brake lock valve was in the middle of the machine side to side and more to the back --------- from the flashing lights it sounds your friend jumped into the wiring of the brake -----------the brake valve on that machine should be right next to the valve with the red squared plastic knob , the boom lowering valve which the knob is on is on the right side the seat , I can't see why any of those wires or hoses would be dissconnected if the motor where pulled ----------count the flashes and it may tell you what to look for -------------they had a problem with the wiring from the brake switch rubbing the left bolt of the front console cover

A engine RPM sensor not working will not allow the brake in the motors to release.I have disconected mine from time to time for security reasons.

Thanks for all the tips. We found a way to get power from the harness by using some wire tap splices and "jumping" into the solenoid that controls the brake lock. We tested the plug going into the solenoid, only have 10 volts coming in. The power jumped in is 12 volts. Could there be a problem with the control box located at the front left fender (from seated position).
