2007 T190.
I have the service manual and looked have looked up the procedure.

• From where do I source the alternator?

• How many hours should I plan for the replacement process?

• Any install tips from those who've traveled this road?

if you have a quality alternator repair service close to you have that one refreshed. that should save a few bucks, if you do not need the machine every day. I would get the alternator manf. name and model # and look it up on the net to find one if you want new.

I agree with finding a local shop. I have a local guy and know that he's using quality parts for a rebuild. Getting a Bobcat new part would be equally good, but expensive. At least for automotive alternators, I've found the typical parts store rebuilt alternator isn't the greatest.

I'm near Houston, so I'm sure there's a quality rebuild shop somewhere.
I'll reach out to some car buddies to see if they know of any.

Being an '07 w/ 4K+ hours it'll be interesting to see if it's got markings of an OE part.
