When are these expected out or are they now available? Must be a market for bigger, they seem to be going back that way again. Ditto on the wires and computers, I'll take a std guage package over what they called the “Boss” any day. But once the G series started in 99 the option of the standard machine was gone. They dropped the Boss name and made the shutdown protection system standard equipment. I hope someday they will lose enough market share over this that they reconsider. More then one person has enquired on here as how to remove the Boss as the don't want to spend 1 to 2k to repair a option they never needed anyway. I had a 93 753 with Boss and it needed @ $300.00 worth of senders in the 2000 to 3000 hour range, and a screw come loose inside the Boss circuit board Box that would have cost me another 900.00 because a bad ground was shutting the engine off. Fortunately I drilled out the rivots, opened the box and snugged the screws and the problem vanished. My 2000 773G now has a intermittant overheat problem, according to the temp guage, that a new sender won't cure and it shuts downs. IR gun says water temp is perfect @ 192 degrees at the thermostat. Dealer says new computer is the fix, somewhere around 1k again. Think I will move the sender outside the block and put in my own temp guage. Local Bobcat mechanic here does not recommend hand controls either, one customer pressure washed their loader under the cab, water got into a wire harness connection and the machine had to be sent to the dealer as it would no longer function. Give me a mechaincal linkage any day. it may fail to, but I'll be able to patch it to finish the job and repair it when I get home. Regards Ken
