Does anyone have any experience with swapping out the kubota diesel in one of these little track loaders for a gas motor? I have a buddy that thinks he blew up his kubota (lack of oil!!) and is looking for an inexpensive solution. I thought of going the Dingo route on it and throwing in a gas twin. anyone? Thanks, Shawn

You'd need to choose carefully. Diesel engines generate a lot of torque at lower RPM than a petrol engine does, so you will need to keep that in mind.
If you size it correctly, i guess it can be done, i'd rather stick with diesel though, less fuel and will run longer.
Has he looked on ebay or craigs list for a running engine?
