Hey guys I have a Bobcat 632. After talking to a friend of mine about safety he has let me know what I have been doing is extreamly dangerous, and suggested I make or buy a support arm safety bar. I don't always do it but on ocasion I have climbed out of the machine with the bucket in the up position. Example is when I have to clean a deer I have shot,I raise the animal up and climb out of the machine, and start skinning away. I guess I have been a dummy. Does anyone have any pictures of a homemade one or factory one you could post or one you have made that you could describe. Thanks Steve

The safety braces are a must for working on the loader with the arms up but I don't use them for the occasional in and out. I have made them out of 3/16 2"x2" angle and just tie them to the cylinder so they don't fall off. Most of the newer machines come with them attached.

On the older machines the lift arm support was a separate piece that needed a second person to put it in place before the operator climbed out of the cab. On the new machines it's attached to the forward lift arm pivot pin and is a one man operation.
632 support.
