sticky 753 parking brake

Help Support SkidSteer Forum:

It sure was lol Now is there anyway to get the wires outta the parking brake tube, other then cutting them and then connecting them back together? Don't want to weld the tube with the wires in it, might fry them....
You may be able to disassemble the connector at one end and pull it through, but worst case cut them and solder and heat shrink them back together. I'm going to have to do that on the control levers when i put new hand grips and boots on....
Yeah, welding it with wires in it, not so good!
I can't remember how mine is held down, i think its just a clip at one end and under the seat its loose.

I actually discussed this with my local bobcat dealer. Turns out they come as one piece from the factory with the tube already on. Sounds like they slide the wires through then put the end connector on. Ah well I cut it now, tommrow its going to be welded and fixed for good. One less potential problem in the future. Also make sure you guys check your bushings in the seat bar. Luckily I bought new ones, both were worn out especially the right side ones.
