I'm looking at purchasing an SR250 - 2012 with @3,000 hours. Seems reasonably priced for today's market. I've run Kubota's, a variety of Bobcats, a couple of Cat models but never a Case. Just curious what others think of this machine & how it compares to other brands for reliability, serviceability, notable problem concerns to look out for or any other ideas you might have me consider before purchase. It will be used for a variety of projects and a lot of snow-blowing but probably not a ton of heavy earth moving besides some moderate gravel hauling and grading. Will get a hi-flow snow blower, probably a mower, pallet forks, and post-hole digger along with the bucket. It will have to endure a lot of cold & snow & blowing snow.
Machine seems to be clean, starts and runs well, and has a 1 owner history with a consistent service record. I do not like the Case dealer in our area....but there are local mechanics that can do major work I trust for repairs beyond my abilities. No detectable leaks. Cab a/c & heat work, hydraulics seem smooth enough. It's a little larger than we actually need but that's not a problem. We only want a wheeled skid steer. Really like that it's pre-emissions BS add-ons. Electronics seemed to be fully working as they should
Thanks for any advise in advance!
