The unit i just bought makes a winning sound when ever you use the hydraulics. the guy that sold me the unit, (not the Owner) thought that if i put Hydraulic oil instead of what the Manual calls for, the noise would go away. The Manufacture suggest to use 10W30 API SE/SD oil only. This is the same oil used in everything on the skid steer, including the Engine. Its just customary to change all the oils when ever you buy some new play toy.
