Can anyone recommend which web site to download a service manual. Or to purchase one on-line (PDF download). Im need one for our general repairs but most of all i need to adjust neutral on the steering of a 2007 S250 bobcat. Damn thing moves on its own. Thanks a bunch.

steering adjusment on a s250. manual is an 8 page of confusion. doesnt work never has never will. but worth reading. take it apart see how it works( this is what we have done) the vice grip tool is worth making. and buy the way the svc man is about a 100 bucks paper copy.. well worth having i guess im old school the internet is great but. does not replace the 5 seconds it takes to flip to the page you need.

Hello. I downloaded the service manual for http://www.tradebit.com/ . How do I get more parts manual in my Bobcat S250? Serial number 531011185. My nearest dealer is 350 km and it is difficult to explain exactly what I need.

You can generally ask for a fax or e-mail from the dealer. Mine will fax parts lists to me to confirm the part numbers of what i am after.

HYDROSTATIC PUMP to leak oil. I think need to be replaced with number of 1,2,3. Help find their order numbers. And the number of the gas spring door opener.

What is part number 3? When i did mine, i was sure i just repalced the O ring under the plate and the seal. There were no other fancy things that i needed to do as well. I believe these both would be available from a hydraulic seal shop far cheaper than the dealer too.
Just keep in mind that if the oil tank is still full, it will push oil out of here and when you jiggle it around, the bearing can start to lift. All you do is wiggle the square pintle arm and push it back down.
There was a post on another site that someone used two large cable ties to capture the centering spring. Compress it and zip the cable ties up. It makes it go back in so much easier. Compressing it and getting the nut back on is murder without it.

i beliveve what youre refering to is a pintle shaft leak, the top of swash plate square about 3/4 inch. if so a speedy sleeve is avail #99-100 =applied technogaly. be sure to replace seals and quads, this is a standard, steering job . quote about 300 bucks includes cleaning. have to throw in disclaimer if it needs parts other than that as in arms bushings blocks etc,may be more but will get done once and done right. should never have to screw with it again
