Hey everyone, Great site with heaps of info. I am in oz and am looking to start a bobcat and tipper business. I have been doing heaps of research regarding running costs but was hoping someone can help me out with fuel consumption figures for an S205. I nave checked the operators manual and it quotes 12.9 litres per hour. Could someone confirm if this is correct as it seems to be a lot. I understand it depends on what you are doing. Any help would be appreciated. I'm happy to convert to gallons if that helps. Cheers Andrew

It really depends on how hard you are running it.
I generally only put 20l in my machines and run them till they are pretty low, i get quite a few hours out of that much fuel. I don't run it flat out unless i have some serious digging to do, mostly 1/2-3/4 is all you need.
That figure does seem a little high. As long as you factor in fuel cost to your pricing, you should still be ok. Up in brisbane, i'ts pretty consistant, $1.50/litre, some times a litle more, some times a little less. But only a few c each way.
